Mine definitely lasts longer. I would get into the red by the end of the day many times on my 3GS, sometimes in the 5% range forcing me to put it on the charger. With the same usage, I haven't had the battery get down that low. I have only been getting down to about 35% - 50% now. I'm very happy with the battery life and can't complain.

I haven't got the iphone4 yet, but used it in my dream. The battery last all dream till i woke up. Poor me it was a dream.

Mine is definitely better than my 3GS. I had to charge my 3GS everyday without fail, but with the same usage, my iPhone 4 still has 50-55% left at the end of the day! Far superior battery and phone!

i turned off my push notification.. its consuming your battery life. i dont think its that hard to go inbox and press refresh button lol just turn push notification off and you are good to go...

Mine is def lasting longer. From 0200 - 1500 ish takes me down to about 30 - 40%. 3GS needed to be charged at about the 1200 mark or else 5% or less. Since I sometes use my phone for music during PT, I was sucking if I forgot my 3GS charger at home.

I use my iPhone 4 heavy. I still had to get close to a charger around 7 hours of good use.

I am fine with my iphone 3GS now. I will wait till apple fixes all hardware and software problems. Maybe at that time, I will get the iphone 4a. I don't want to be somebody's little white mice for experiment.

Off topic but stumbled on an article that says Apple will release a software fix for the antenna issue in a few weeks. Supposedly they had the wrong formula for the bars shown since the first iPhone. The formula shows more bars than there actually are.
If this is true then I must say it's the biggest joke Apple has made. First why would the software be released in a few weeks (If I read correctly) just to fix a supposed faulty formula. Secondly this just implies ATT is even worse then people were led to believe since all iPhone models were showing more bars than they actually have. If this article is telling the truth then it's a real shame for Apple. It just seems like a poor poor excuse IMO.

I had a similar experience. In one day I lost 40% of my battery life in under 3 hours of very little use and no calls whatsoever. I did a full reset of the phone and the battery now lasts longer but not as good as before installing iOS4.

****. I went to sleep with 37% of battery. And woke up with 3%. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my old 3GS is sitting in my card from 50% and and 4 days later still haves plenty o battery life.

I don't have the iPhone 4. I have the 3GS, and yes, the battery life is the only thing I despise about it.I am waiting for the iPhone 5....
