my i4 was produced in week 25
no reception issues here, even tried reproducing the death grip still solid signal.
I think these issues might be related to those "rushed" production of i4's when they were first released. (which had that yellow stain on the screen, etc) -
not true.. just got mine yesterday and the signal drops with the death grip.. and i have pretty good AT&T coverage here in south jersey

iphone 4 in average conditions is sometimes better, but also can be the same as or worse than the 3GS.
