just go to apple and complain about proximity sensor.. NOT antenna problem.. and they'll swap to newer production with no flaws what so ever.. that is what I did.. im happy with my phone now.

To fix the proximity sensor - go to Setttings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
This really did work for me, I had a terrible problem.

This is also being addressed in the 4.1 update that currently is in beta.
