This is nothing new. I had light leaking around the edges from my old 3G iphone. Incidentally that was my first iPhone and I was very dissapointed with apple. Also the glass front was not completely flushed on the phone (which probably caused the light leaking issue). I'm sure many other people had this issue too.

there is nothing wrong with iphone 3g my bro uses his 3g 16gigs from 2 years.not a single problem.stop complaining about iphone.till now only iphone 4 has antenna problem which has been solved by putting bumper provided b aple for free.i think u might have drop ur 3g one or two times.thats why u see light leaking

I've had a chrome 2g and when I upgraded, it was to a white 3GS. Im just not felling the black version like everyone else. I will hold out untill the white one drops.

What's the big deal about the white iPhones? They are ugly! I own the black iPhone 4 and before this the black 3G and original iPhone. The black iPhones look way better than the white versions! I also think white phones look very feminine... in my opinion, guys that own white phones lose a few points of masculinity! Lol.

I have been waiting. My contract is up for white 3G and I just dont like the black one as much, however when Apple announced the delay, I decided to bite the bullet and order the black one. Should be here in 10 days. I may just get a white case and call it a day.

Actually you could say 4g cause it is the fourth generation it's like if the next phone is the 4g or 4gs cause of speed or network it is still the 5th generation of the iPhone. That's why people use that phrase on cars to like it isn't the 2nd generation rx-7 it's just an rx-7 but people say rx-7 2g or 2nd generation. I had had a black 3G for a week or so. Then when I upgraded to the 16 I got the white one I liked it at first but the rest of my family got black. And I used the **** out of it and as time went on my families black ons just kept there shine better and just looked nicer. So I just upgraded to a black 3gs and if apple fixes the 4 I will get a black on just look sleek but they way apple is handling this I will most likely be getting a black iPhone 4s or 5 what Evers they call the next and I think what there gonna do is next summer they are gonna speed it up a little maybe give it a better flash and new antenna but it will look the exact same. And there slogan will be the iPhone 4 that you can hold in any hand. And either call it iPhone 4S,or iPhone 4WA. For working antenna. Lol

Actually it's the third generation the iPhone 3G was the same as the 2g save the 3G radio. Even apple Doesn't consider the 3G a second generation phone.

Can't someone just make colored screen protectors? They won't look perfect but hey, at least you won't be limited to only black or white.

i think i just gonna wait untill iPhone 4S, 4i or whatever release next.. lol!! i don't want to risk hundreds of dollars to buy bugs home.. I'd rather stay at 3GS than iPhone 4.

Look no matter what Apple does they will continue to dig their own grave. I mean it does have some great features but white or not the iPhone 4 has major design flaws. Design should never come before function and usability. Apple seems to have forgotten that.
I mean the iPhone 4 held the number one spot in the top ten ranking on pc world. Once Apple gave that press conference they took it down with out explanation. However, http://getyourgadgetsgoing.com/ took a look into it. The results are rather interesting.
