But multitasking in my iPhone 3gs drains more battery any help how to disable it!!!
-
Downgrade to iOS 3.1.3 with SHSHs...
-
Install "Backgrounder"(Cydia of course if jailbroken), to kill process if closed.
-
would like to know the performance of the IOS on iphone 3gs is it worth shifting over or is it better to stay at 3.1.3 please suggest kram thanks in advance
-
Its worth it speed s the same or even alittle better and all functions work like at iphone 4
-
Is it just me or winmo browser ooks much more crispier than 3GS.
-
The speed was great but i the battery drains faster than before and multitasking sucks coz everytime you go back home you need also to double-click the home bottom to check the application and closed it
-
Much better to maintain 3.1.3 jailbreak, just wait for a jailbreak tool for ios4 before you upgrade!

I got a 3Gs with iOS4. It's jailbreaken even though I don't feel the same use for it anymore now when iOS is as good as it is.
But for me I love the "multitasking". I never used backgrounder because it drained my battery. This doesn't so I'm happy with the new update.
Now I just need the same thing for the iPad, instead of 3.2.
-
I would say upgrade with a big U :o).
I think 4.0 is so much better then 3.x
I also have a 3Gs and it's running perfect with the new update.

Thanks in advance,
I just received a 3G 16gb iPhone replacement. Getting ready to open it up. I am not a AT&T customer. Don't know what firmware, etc. on new 3G iPhone. Any suggestions whether and which jailbreak to do?
So should I keep 3 OS, since I need an unlock, and wait till Comex or whoever brings a JB and unlock to upgrade to 4 OS?I

I know this is the wrong place, but don't iphonehacks think it's worth mentioning that jailbreaking the iPhone officially became legal today?!
-

Hi iPhone hack weak up bro
The goverment makes jailbreak
Legal. -
it's just you.. 3GS is old news anyway.. iPhone 4 has four times as many pixels as 3GS.

Internet Explorer is built to satisfy the needs of ASP.NET and that's why it's so clunky. It only runs 2 HTTP threads at once where Safari runs a dozen or more and many times IE won't display a page until 100% of the HTML is downloaded. This is what you are seeing in the video. I've developed on top ASP.NET long enough to know why IE is so darn slow. In Visual Studio 2005 there was actually a validate request bug because Microsoft Visual Studio developers didn't realize other browsers were allowing users to interact with pages before the pages had finished loading... they have improved some over the years but they tend to follow :/

does any kno if u could jailbreak or unluck 3gs ios4? I also tried to downgrade it but i couldnot! I need help please!

You can install jailbrocken iOS4 on your 3Gs, if you have already jailbrocken 3Gs with iOS 3.*.* with sn0wbreeze (don't forget to save shsh for 3.*.*).
If you did "normal" upgrade over iTunes, then there is no way to jailbreak it for 3Gs, you must wait for new jailbreaking tools, if you did not save shsh file. If you did save the shsh, then you can downgrade your iPhone to old iOS version then install jailbrocken iOS 4.0(sn0wbreeze).ps for each step search in the web how to do this...
