Ummmm I think the author of this article needs to go look under the keyboard settings where you can find the emoji settings on ios4. You already have emoji for free on ios 4 people.

I never used any kind of app like this to have my emoji on my keyboard , i juste enabled them , when you select Japanese keyboard you can enable emoji only so you have 2 keyboard , english and emoji

Had the same problem. Took a Q-Tip and lightly wet it with rubbing alcohol. Gently twisted it into the headphone jack to clean out the gunk deposited inside. Once it was clean, it worked normally again. Apparently the build up of dust and grime in the headphone jack can cause it to act like headphones are plugged in.
Like you, I tried all the recommended tricks with no success. This fixed mine. Hope it helps you.

Um, I haven't done anything and Emoji has been available for quite a while on stock iPhones. Just select it from Settings>General>Keyboard>International Keyboards>Add New Keyboard...
Been using them in tweets and SMS to friends for ages.

I have a jailbroken iphone with os4.0 and I can't sent the emoji's to anyone with an iphone unless its a phone that has been jailbroken? Is this a problem or is there a way to fix it?

so i go into International>Keyboards..
but when it comes up with the available keyboards, theres Japanese 'Romaji' and Japanese 'ten key' and theres no settings for Emoji..is this because my phones been updated to 4.1?
and are there any loopholes so i can enable it? -
I had to replace my iPhone at the Apple store,
and they upgraded me from 4.0 to 4.1, and now
Emoji is no longer an option for international keyboards.

Actually there is a solution for you guys that have the iphone 4 you dont have to download an app for emoji iphone4 already has it you simply go to the settings>general>keyboard>international>add keyboard and you select the emoji one and you are ready to use emojis hopw this works.

i have ipod touch 2g ios 4 .in start i.was successful in enabling emoji after this ichange my farmware to again ios 4.but now there is still the emojifunction in my ipod but when i enable it it dosent how any emoji icons what did i do.if any1 now whats the eal problem then send a message at my hotmail address.(fuktin2009@hotmail.com)
