@Adipekar use an AT&T sim card if it is for the iPhone 4 it will help you to get out from the emergency call screen the put the T-mobile sim (is u gonna use it with tmmobile and the phone will activate

Yes wolver, but i restored to the 4.0.1 and i dont have the att micro sim, so i cant activate the phone. With redsnow i used to jailbreak and active the 3gs all in one step with no need to carry a sim.

Yes, you can get an att micro sim at ebay for 3 dollars plus shipping. I did that since redsnow is not compatible with the iphone 4 firmware.

I keep getting a "no sim installed" error when I try to insert my tmobile sim. I have an Iphone 4 OS4.0.1 it has been activated, jailbroken and I installed Ultrasnow 1.1-1. Do you know how to solve the error I am getting?

I am the same as you except on 3.1.3 with the 4.0.1 baseband. Cydia offered an update for my ultrasn0w and I trusted it now my phone can't get signal. Help PLEASE someone!

I had the same problem with 3GS 4.0.1 when updated ultrasn0w to 1.1-1, I reinstalled, when the process ended I turn off the iPhone end after turn it on and voilà I got a signal.

Worked great, the only thing I would clarify, just to be specific....make sure your IPhone 3G is updated to the new 4.0.2 firmware using ITunes, & then continue with this tutorial. I originally thought, because it was telling me to download both the 4.0 & 4.0.2 from a link, that I shouldn't update my old software using ITunes. But that's not the case. Download them both after the ITunes update. Thank you for this, & it worked great!! :-)

Just go to jailbreakme.com and you will be able to unlock again your iphone, turn your wifi on and go to your safari browser and then type in http://www.jailbreakme.com but before you do that you need to go to setting and clear history, cookies,cache and then go back to the main screen and start that procedure.

Anyone having problems with visual voicemail after installing ultrasn0w? everytime I go to my voicemail in the phone app it calls my voicemail number instead of showing the visual screen.

I installed everything as directed, selected 'Carrier' under the 'Settings' icon on the main screen, and the only two options it is giving me is AT&T and T-Mobile. I have Verizon, please help!
