Works pretty good over wifi on my iPhone 3g with iOS4 jailbroken to allow multitasking (in other words, it seems to work fine on slow devices with limited memory).

Tried with 4 bars on 3G and later with wifi - stuttered and kept stopping to buffer both times.

Meh I hate how a lot of these apps are restricted to a specific Country. How about showing some love to the Canadians gosh!

You can still use the 'hacked' method of running the iPad only version of the Netflix (1.4)app on your iDev on iOS 3.1.2. In fact, that's what I'm still doing because I don't want to upgrade my firmware until there's a proper 4.* jailbreak.
Using the composite video cables also works with the 'hacked' version as well. Can anyone confirm if video cables work with this new version of the app?

If you're having problems running this app in a specific country, if you're currently jailbroken, you can download "FakeLocation" from Cydia and fake your devices location for any app, including Netflix, making it appear you are in the US.

I have a jailbroken 3gs with FW 3.1.3 and when I hit play the movie begins to load and the play even shows up but less than a second later the player disappears. Any ideas?

I tried it this morning and it worked amazing. I was getting texts while the movie was going and it took maybe 5 seconds to get back to the movie. Great app!

I have the same problem..... jailbroken 3gs fw 3.1.3 and I push play and less than a second later it goes back to the browsing screen. Need help please!!!!!!

I have a jailbroken unlocked 3GS running 4.01
When trying to play videos it begins to load then the player disappears.
No idea why. I tried rebooting to no avail.

Hey, that is true! I wish the can fix that.. it would really amazing that I can watch the movies in my TV trough the home theater dock. just like the you tube app or the movies in the iPod app.

Now I understand that the Netflix App is a great step in the right direction BUT its too bad its limited because of AT&Ts control over the already controlling iPhone.
Why do I says its controlling? Because it will be controlling your pocket and how much money you spend on your limited data plans.
Most iPhone users hype themselves over the app but do they even really understand how much data this app uses? I didnt either until i read this article that laid out the data usage.
