Pretty sure it means the first day of release I believe like as soon as a movie comes to DVD it will be on the store the same day just with like a dollar premium.

I'm planning to get the new Apple TV, but how is the Netflix partnership going to work??? Wouldn't that eat into Apple's sales if people are going to be able to use their Netflix accounts to download the same content that will be available in iTunes?

Unfortunately, old apple TV users will not see an update with the new features as i read on another website, "take it with a grain of salt though" i placed an order for one yesterday, looking forward to see how it works since i haven't tried one before and i mainly bought it for Netflix streaming in my bedroom.

Will you be able to stream avi from a shared folder on a pc? Or is this only going to be via ituned m4v files and only from itunes?

netflix instantly watch only shows some newer movies.. the newest movie is normally like 6 months on dvd already.. some its not the same content... and there is no downloads on either its all streaming.. :-)

iphonehacks.com posters are getting lazy. write your own article or atleast get the information from the source. most of my video files are MKV and AVI which apple does not support. no support for avi which is very disappointing. just about every device out there supports avi.
