quick question, i have new iphone 4 that came with 4.02 will it be safe for me to upgrade to 4.1 and then wait for the jailbreak or should i stay on 4.02 till the jailbreak is released?

The Jailbreak Team made it very clear that they will not provide a jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2 because it is a simple update to fix one issue and one issue only and that is the PDF security hole in Safari. They don't want to escalate the cat and mouse game with Apple so they will only provide a jailbreak for iOS 4.1.

i updated my 3g with 4.1 GM, now its baseband is 5.14.02, so how long does it take this great guy to unlock this latest baseband? =)

in other words. upgrade to 4.1 it will be better firmware and there will eventually be a jailbreak. you lose both ways if you stay 4.02

I don't plan on jb mine. Anyways I wonder when exactly it will come out because all apple said is "sometimes next week (as of last week)" so I wonder exactly when.

It's called the free market. Works pretty well. We are buying them. Personally, I don't mind paying a little more for a far superior phone. Just my opinion.

dude theres not expensive when you upgrade you pay a subsidized price for the phones, unless your paying for a no contract phone then your not paying an expensive price for this kind of technology

4.1 unjailbreaks your phone. So don't upgrade to 4.1 if you want to keep your jailbreak.
