yea ou can restore back to factory but there is a romur that 4.1 firmware will have encription technolgy so if you jAILBREAK 4.1 IT WILL LEAVE A WATER MARK LIKE YOUR PHONE WAS WET AND EVERYBODY NOW THAT IF YOUR PHONE OR IPOD GETS WET THAT VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY SO IF THAT A TRUE ROMUR DO IT T YOUR OWN RISK BUT FOR ME I'M GONNA DO IT AS LONG THE JAILBREAK IS UNTEATHERED

Thats is a good news. But I hope those genius guys will release a jailbreak tool that will hacktivate the iPhone 4. Mine is stuck at the slide for emergency cuz it asks for ssn and billing zipcode.
I think maybe later in the future like 2 years from now ;) there would be a way to restore the iPhone 4 with custom firmware and then we can hacktivate it. But I'm not sure.. Just my opinion so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

I hope it's released soon because I am sick of Apple telling me I have an update and I am trying really hard not to update my iPhone 3gs to 4.1 until the jailbreak is released. Which is better Snowbreeze or shatter does anyone have a preference to one vs. the other let me know. Thanks

WTF!!! i broke my iphone 4 and had to get a new one. There shipping them with iOS 4.0.2 And They made me update my phone before they would warranty it. I really up S**T creek on this one. Hope it come out soon.
