Since the software for the computer is for Mac...it wouldnt work on PC would it?
Because according to this it works for PC users, but there is no PC version to put on your computer.
-
I fail to see how this would be better than e.g. LogMeIn Ignition app?
-
With Parallels, every Mac user is a PC user!
-
Mac users are PC users. I think you mean Windows users. A PC is a device, not an OS.
-
Its free if you buy Parallels 6 for Mac where as you need to pay $29.99 for LogMeIn but it allows you to control your Mac or PC. It really depends on your requirement.

For some reasons PC been always synonym of Windows as OS X wanst that mainstream....so glad u "clarify" what she's trying to say even thou that was pretty clear and understandable for pretty much anyone accessing this site :)

The article is poorly written. Parallels allows you to run Windows on your Mac. This app allows you to access Parallels from your iDevice. So you are not accessing Windows on a PC, you are accessing a Windows desktop on your Mac. Either way, you're connecting to your Mac.

Hmmm, is it me or has this been around for a long time? Haha
-
uhm.. cant the same thing be done using a app such as mocha VNC and installing a VNC server on your PC? thats what i do to access my desktop files and documents.
-
uhm,.. yes it can. I use VNC to remotely control my PC from my iPhone, and my PC is not a Mac or Windows PC! Not everyone uses a Mac or Windows.

It's called taemviewer! Works just as good, if not better and the best part about it is it's FREE!! But I still don't see why anyone would want a remote viewer on a iPhone screen other that emergency quick Tec support!
-
The Parallels mobile app requires iPhone OS 3.2--Apparently not currently available for my First Gen iPhone!
-
why does it say "Mac And Windows Desktops" giving completely the wrong idea on what this works on!!!
-
Last thing I want on my ipad crappy ass windows on it

+1 to TeamViewer. Free. Works. Done.
-
Yeah abit behind the times with this post that app is just a bad rip off of wat teamveiwer has always done for free and teamveiwer has been around long enough that it works with out a glitch and with some gr8 features.
Mayb u should do a new post about teamveiwer
-
I quite agree with everyone that comment on TeamViewer. I've being using this Apps for ages.
I think this post is a little behind time. Nevertheless, it is good for readers to know that there're better Apps that does the same thing.
-
Yeah I use iTeleport. It pretty much looks the same except I think the size of your computer screen affects the look and feel. Then again I run this app on my iPhone; not exactly the largest screen.
