If I upgrade my iphone 3g to 4.1 from 4.0..will the firmware baseband also get upgraded to 05.14.x?? if it is true, then can I unlock my iphone 3g with UltrSn0w?..Actually, I am using T mobile right now on my iphone3g. Please advice.
Is there any way that I can skip the baseband 05.14.x while upgrading to 4.1 to unlock my 3g?

Sn0wbreeze is better as it protects the baseband from getting upgraded, which is important if you want to unlock your iPhone 3G.
If you are a Mac user, then you should wait for Dev Team to release PwnageTool for iOS 4.1, which also protects the baseband from getting upgraded. -

Can you have multiple iOS backups on Cydia? I have a backup of iOS 4.0 and wanted to know if I can create another backup of 4.1 and so on, just in case one version of the iOS is better than the other for jailbreaking purposes.

Hi everyone. Im from Brazil, I have an iPhone 3G and i jailbroken with beta redsn0w 0.9.6b1. First trouble is my cydia icon is all white color, but i found in Google how to fix that, Second is when i click in Cydia them Changes them Upgrade all changes, the Cydia freeze. Also when i click em Source, Manage, Edit and Add, to add a repo to fix the cydia icon color for exemple, cydia freeze too. Thrird problem is, my phone icon is gone. All this problems is because is a BETA version and in the future will be avaible a complete version to fix this bugs OR the problem is only on my iPhone? Can anyone help me?
