If flash really is "a buggy and dying technology" then it would be a nice fit with the rest of the Microsoft technology lineup...

I think Microsoft has the ability to make a killer phone. I love thier mice and keyboards and they have the heft to do it. The iPhone is a great device but it's starting to loose it's grip as other cell phones are catching up with similar or better features and bigger screens. Apple also is charging an arm and leg for it's products. In this crappy economy pricing holds a lot of sway.

Most of the apple haters will praise this.

i hate how microsoft tries to outdo the competition just because they are a big corporation! They failed with Zune to mention one example!!! Now they're teaming up with Adobe to outdo the Apple iPhone!?!?!? They should just stick to what they're good at... operating systems! [No offense to Zune owners or microsoft lovers, I just so passionately microsoft for this :(]

Rememer these are all just rumors. And why would it be wrong if this were to be true? Shouldn't this be what these companies should have done in the first place? To come together and get Flash working smoothly and effieciently on mobile gadgets. I believe they can improve mobile flash and Microsoft has the investment to make this possible.

if it was not for microsoft, apple might have gone under
