If you have a 3G iPhone then keep it at 3.1.2 or 3.1.3. It is not worth it to upgrade to any iOS4.

Is it me or is the 3Gs the only phone Apple has made that is unbreakable? There are all kinds of jailbreaks for 2G, 3G and even 4G but none that will work on the 3Gs. Why is that?

The only reason why you cant JB your 3GS is because you updated it! All my friend's 3GS are jailbroken and will only update on sunday when I'll be telling them to update and preserve their baseband through the new JB (most of them rely on the unlock)... I personnally own an i4 since the launch in Canada and it's jailbroken because I didnt do any update since I have it, new i4s have to wait till sunday.

BTW I dont get why they even bothered loosing their time to prepare this new Redsn0w version since we've been able B 3G and IPT2 with sn0wbreeze for 3 weeks!?

4.1 is way better than 4.0 but not as fast as 3.1.2 (although I now prefer 4.1 to 3.1.2 on my 3G but I dont use it much since I bought my i4)

Actually I have a 3Gs that's on iOS 3.0.1 and never updated past that. I'd like to be able to update my phone to the new iOS 4.1 and jailbreak, but that seems unlikely.

I have a bricked iPhone 3gs. It currently has 4.0 and its unlocked at the moment. Is there a way I can unbrick it and still have the unlockable baseband? ps. I don't have shsh saved in cydia :(

i update my ipodtouch to 4.1 and yes redsnow works fine, i jailbreak it but the itrip is not working, when i plug in ,the ipod crash, anyone know why ????

Same problem for me on a iTouch 4G JB greepoisin...iTrip does not work....when plugging transmitter, no sound on loudspeaker and no transmission....was working before JBing..any idea ?Thanks.
