I have a new iphone 4. I assume Apple updated the baseband in it since it came with iOS 4.1. I cannot find information on unlocking the new iphone 4. I can only find info on using tiny umbrella to aid in upgrading to iOS 4.1 to preserve the baseband. Any suggestions on jailbreaking and unlocking my iphone 4. Should I wait or am I just missing the info.

@Jaguar213 ... U can use this jailbreak for ur phone... It will work... I got my phone with iOS 4.1 and I was able to unlock it without any trouble... No worries...

Hey Guys, I have an iPhone 3GS that is jailbroken and unlocked on 4.0.1 and am on T-Mobile. I want to upgrade to 4.1, from what I read, I cannot unlock my 3GS after jailbreaking on 4.1 and I have to wait till they come out with the PawnageTool. Correct? please help.

want to update to 4.1 to fix the damn prox sensor and jailbreak that as well.
do I update using itunes and jailbreak with greenpoison? will that screw up the baseband? I dont think I will ever unlock the phone but it doesnt hurt to leave me with that option.
Also I have read that if I already jailbroke before, cydia has my baseband saved but I dont ever remember allowing it and cant seem to find any option to back it up since the merge with rock.

I have iPhone 4 with 4.1 and did jailbreak with greenpoison and worked like a charm. However I have two problems, one is everytime I sync, itunes deletes all my apps I got from installus. I have installed **** for 4.1 and restarted the phone. How do I get it to keep my apps during a sync. And the other problem which I also had with my old 3G and my iphone 4 is moblie temrminal shuts down as soon as I start it. I want to change my root password but this problem will not allow me. anyone know how to help? thanks!

MobileTerminal is not supported in iOS4.
AptBackup works properly for me. Make sure you are running the latest version of that and Installus.

I have upgraded my 2 iPhone4 to v.4.1 and then used Greenpois0n windows version to Jailbreak it. Done successfully. Thanks Chronic Dev Team :)
