IF iPhones pods and pads were un jailbreakable would they have sold this many?

One of the reasons why apple sold their products with high numbers is because of the branding. I remember the days where macbooks where not that popular with so little sales, they concentrate their marketing on iPods and people just loved it... now the snowball effect happens in which the MAC branding made it successfull. Too bad Apple now makes overpriced product in which you can just get the features to other brands with cheaper price

Stop with the speculatory BS, jailbreakers account for ~5-10% of iPhone/iPod Touch users (and from what I understand that's being a little generous). So, yes, Apple most likely would have sold nearly as many without jailbreaking. Apple moves big numbers because they make quality products, provide a quality user experience, and have an incredible marketing team. Regardless of your opinion of the quality of their products or user experience, the numbers speak for themselves. Just because you don't like the product, experience, or the way that Apple handles things, does not make it sh!t; it simply means that you don't like it, that's called an opinion not a fact.
