I love my iPad although I primarily use it to watch Netflix movies and read books. Both features work seamlessly and I couldn't live without it.
The Kindle and Nook work great too, but might as well add a bunch of apps, which means iPad.

You know what I find interesting? When the ipad first was announced most of the comments claimed it was an XL iPod and when the iPhone 4 was leaked mostly everyone said it looked ugly. Now look at peoples comments. People at first waved off the fact the phone didn't have flash for the camera and now that it does they dismiss other phones that don't like the Galaxy S. When people point out missing features, owners claim it's not a big deal but as soon as it's added they sure go "crazy." How many people here will dismiss WP7 phones because they don't have copy and paste, true multitasking, or SD slot? Mostly everyone will say it's a disadvantage. Honestly, most people will like whatever Apple puts out. I really don't see the need of upgrading Apple products every year a new one comes out, especially iPods. And I really don't see the need to line up over night. I'm not an apple hater but all this really seems to be an obession.

I have one myself and I do agree that this is truely one of the best inventions made recently. I work for a national TV Station and I know that a lot of my co-workers do agree that it's amazing what you can do with it. Like approval of a TV show so the person doesn't has to come online with a computer. It's not unusual that there are problems with Mac/PC etc and how they are getting access to a file on a server. This product solves that because with less than 4 pushes you can stream a file right from the server without any problems. -
