Does anyone know if you have to use the original camera for this to work?
Or can it work using a different application (for example: CameraGenius).Thank you.

If you don't want to use SSH program to access your iPhone, you can use PhoneDisk, which full version is free until Dec. 1st.

It's easier than the SSH to use, pretty much eliminates Steps 2-5. The keycode is on the website. -
It takes up more storage space, not memory. Two different things.

The quality is terrible when compressed and sent via email...

Note to anyone trying this: backup your original files before attempting this hack. The only difference I've seen is that the compressed file when emailed is of terrible quality. Play with the hack if you want, but I do not recommend it.

Oh ya, almost forgot: A 10 second compressed file (again, sent via email) was almost 1M.

Did it too but when I try to video the image still look the same. Is there a way to tell if its HD or LD lol!!

im stuck with the hostname, mine is o2wireless, but this doesnt work, i cant find an actual IP address.Any help cheers

Not working on iOS 5.0.1When I record a video I can't stop the recording and even I delete the hack files from the system It's still not stopping the recording when I tap the record/stop button.
