Apple has just seeded developers of iOS Developer programs with iOS 4.2 Golden Master version - the final shipping version of the upcoming iOS that will soon be released to customers. One interesting addition in the iOS 4.2 GM is the reinstatement of the AirPlay feature on the native YouTube...

Brightness controls accessible from any app... I wonder where they got that idea... SB Settings, maybe?

Then we just need access to Wifi ON/OFF in the multitaskingbar.. Then its more like SB, then, i at least, dont need SB settings that much anymore.

Then its perfect, oh and phone on/off :P Then at night I can sleep knowing no phone calls, but can still use 3G and WiFi to play online poker!
Yea those would be awesome, wifi/phone/data also on bottom :)

I am pretty sure it is meant to be a lot better, but still not as a good as 3.2.XX.

I figure that the brightness and volume sliders are exclusive to iPad owners...
Well no worries iPhone/iPod Touch people... In Cydia "There is an app for that".

At the pace of the unlock for 4.1, the 4.2 unlock wll only come next year.

i downloaded and installed iOS 4.2 on my iPad
what a difference from 3.2 !!!!!!u need iTunes 10.1 beta then put iPad in dfu mode and restore
to find iOS 4.1 gm search google
now waiting for jailbreak:) -
