No, it's just for testing yet. Lots of things, like for e.g. standby, doesn't work. In my case, it took ~20% battery in 15 minutes.

Wont work with 3G jailbroken with SnowBreeze... So if you have 4.1 and you need to unlock, there is only one tool as i know to preserve old baseband and for that it's snowbreeze which is not good for all iDroid installation tools i try... :/
So there is some JB tool requirements... you can find it on iDroid wiki.

Why exactly? I understand the desire to hack and make things work but I don't believe this could ever be a better offering than a jailbroke iOS..

I have a 3g and JB with latest Redsnow and it says compatibilitiy issue when running bootlace.

I did this with a 2g months ago. It sucks.. the android port is nowhere near ready.
You will find yourself bored with it about an hour after the installation is completed.

For all of you village idiots who can't use their noodles, this is more of a novelty type thing. Do you know very many people who can say " hey my iPhone can run android ****". And obviously it's a work in progress so don't expect it to work 100% correctly. It's android on an iPhone for fucks sake.

Would love to have a dual booting iPhone 4, that would be so bad :) android and the retna display, voice dictation, and all kinds of other goodies apple has denied me of, so Google should really get on this, I'm sure it would just chap Steve's hide haha

I did this a while ago..its a fun little thing to do if you have an iPhone lying around.
It's slow, it's buggy..its on a mission to burn my hand...but yeah, its WIP...even if it never becomes something serious, its great to play around with.there is another method, iPhoDroid...not necessarily better, but just as simple. both are great (i have tried both). i did find iPhoDroid to be slightly faster.

2g iphone 3.1.3---got in a loop with iDroid trying to load. Spent all day trying workarounds, and finally doing a complete restore of the corrupted 2G. I have jailbroken and unlocked at least 20 iphones (2g,3g, 3gs); and I don't recommend this unless you are willing to take the risk, like all the disclaimers say. :-)

Well new Redsnow uses limerain which is why it didnt work. Used older redsnow and now iDroid works fine. Surprised it works pretty good actually cant wait till they make it a full OS port.

Well... I need this because of PS3 JB. I can only hack my PS3 with iDroid or LINUX inside my 3G or I need to buy USB dongle... so this is a serious reason why wee need it and not only for fun to mess with different systems and feel like a "hackers" :)

Ugraded to 4.1 and jailbroke with redsn0w 0.9.6b2. Bootlace says jailbreak not compatible. Anyone know how to resolve this now phone is on 4.1?

I have an I phone 3G 16gb non MC model...process was fast everything install properly ...phone call yes wifi yes ...ect..Interesting part Jail broken with snow breeze on 4.2.1 ... and no problems or issues ... Cydia intact as well ...
