Hulu Plus gives me access to content that I can DVR already, with the added benefit that I have to sit through the commercials. The ability to watch on my iDevice isn't worth the eight bucks a month.

I still won't pay for this if it still has ads. It needs to be one or the other, why don't they get that.
Also, until the service is the same as it is on a plain old web browser (Most recent shows free, etc.), I won't support them. I don't like any service that isn't device neutral.

Your missing the extra piece to this that Hulu plus is now available on the PS3 and is coming to the Xbox 360. The extra platforms now of not just my PC and the iPad does make it more interesting to me. Price drop does help to.

Someone please convince me that this is a great deal. I still wont budge for something that costs me $0.00 on my laptop. $7.99 for the same stuff just to watch it on my iphone/ipad. Ummmm no Im good thanks though=)
