i3DG: Accessory To Bring 3D Content To iPhone
Earlier this year, Japanese electronics manufacturer, Sharp, announced details about an upcoming smartphone that will enable users to watch 3D content without the need for special glasses. While watching 3D content over small display devices like a smartphone may not be entirely worthwhile, this has nevertheless been quite a fascinating...

My first "first", *tears up*- my nerd hymen has officially been shattered lol
-
Was it something I said? lol
-
All posts with first and nothing more to share/discuss will be removed.
-
lol i like "first" posts.
-
That was my bad. Both comments were meant to be in the same post, but I didn't have enough health/magic to pull it off. I do think it would be cool to have some 3D stuff on the iPhone.

So now a comment on the actual article.. I would be interested in a 3D accessory, it's certainly a neat idea!
-
thanks, I do too. Gotta watch out for the iPoPo tho :)
-
Indeed, I bet there are going to be quite a few 3D movies at next year's IFF. Another reason to visit the great country of Holland!
-
Wow, that looks just like a huge gimmick. Can you imagine Netflix or any other company that broadcasts media to your phone investing in modifying existing media to work with this?
-
Good! I hate "first" douchebags.
-
-
thank you.
personally, i wish i could slap every single person that post a ridiculous 'first' comment..but this will do.. -
I am sorry, but this is retarded... Seriously freaking retarded... Just buy a 3d tv if you want 3d sooo very badly...
-
Well, this only has three planes, and the viewing screen has been greatly reduced. I like the idea of the 3d goggles that attach to the phone, it could even be made to have a headband so you could watch a movie without having to hold it up. Honestly this idea has props for the effort, but fails in interesting me to buy it....

The viewing area should not be a problem I think. Just make the angle more acute and increase the height of the accessory and you should be ready to go.
-
I second that! I hate damn first posts with nothing else to say. So sophomoric!
-
But the 45 angle is needed for effect :P
Look it up ;)
And this looks nice! Might stock 2-3 of them and test one out :P
-
Did I miss the cost? 30$ is fine for this.
-
Looks really cheap like one of those old 3 color 1980's handheld games with a 9 volt battery.
China and their crap lol. -
thats messed up! it does look cheap though.
-
I bet it could look better on the iPad, bigger ;)
-
Second.
(as in I second that idea)

If its not expensive, sure why not, but if its a bit pricey... well... I guess time to DIY, do it yourself, the concept is very simple, a few CD covers would do the trick. :\ well, thats just my opinionof course :)
