I like the Beatles a lot but I was really expecting iOS 4.2 on every iDevice. -
Talk about a "Lame Duck Session"!!!
-
what a waste of bandwidth...
-
Seriously? The Beatles? I went to Apple.com and sure enough, that is what it is. I'm almost 30 and I couldn't care less about the Beatles. I don't know anyone my age who cares about them. I'm very disappointed in Apple for stating that this is an announcement we'll never forget. I guess they are right, but not in a good way. Looks like they cried "wolf" on this one. I won't even care the next time they say they have an important announcement. I'm getting tired of their lies and BS. I see myself checking out a Windows Phone in the not so distant future.

This exercise was interesting perhaps for Steve and the suits that control the Beatles output but little like finding a quarter in a winter jacket pocket.
-
Wow.. what a let down. Talk about Overhyping marketing. Honest Apple, hardcore Beatle fans already found a way to listen to thier songs on thier iPod. What a disappointment. Bring IOS 4.2 already.
-
Beatles suck more than anything .. I mean those songs are for my grandmoms kitty parties .. N for Steve jobs .. I guess .. Batards get ios4.2 out n stop counting on this **** ..
P.s : I thought the big "exiting thing" was changing the iTunes 10 ..lol ...
-
great disappointment!!!!! I was totally not expecting this from Apple... I think they are trying to buy more time with releasing iOS 4.2... Maybe people will forget since the beatles came to iTunes..... what a waist of my time!! UGHHHH
-
I'm quite pleased. The Beatles made great music (with some exceptions!), and people have been crying out for Beatles on iTunes for years. Now it's here, people can buy their music. However, most on this site (a hacking site essentially) probably have slacker morals and will have been happy to rip their music illegally.
Sure, not everyone will like their music, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been a frequently asked for addition to the store.
I don't think Apple ever intended it to be a huge thing - the announcement was a play on words for Beatles fans.
-
We do not condone piracy of apps or music so suggesting that users here have slacker moral seems rather harsh.
-
Disappointment...
-
The Beatles were like the iPhone 4.
Disa-fu**ing-pointing!
Their music should 'Do a John'........Rest in Peace
Maybe jobs wanted their back catalogue for his own iPod, won't be landing on mine anytime soon: -) -
Who cares about the beatles
-
Judging by the replies above, some certainly are happy to download them!! Much like you never see pro-Apple comments on this site, you'll rarely see people willing to pay for apps or music. Just my opinion.
-
ditto, no one under the age of 90 gives a f about the beatles. I even asked my dad, and he replied, "I don't listen to rap music!"
-
They have sold over 1 billion records... So i'm pretty sure a damn lot do.
-
Complete waste of time. Apple needs to get real
-
Another disappointment from recent apple events. Seriously apple! Instead of the "I'll follow the sun" (Beatles song), they should roll some clouds!
-
Whats the big deal, aren't they just insects?
-
Stay tuned, an insider source tells me that next week apple will be releasing the digitally remastered singles from Vanilla Ice and Marky Mark and the funky bunch, hey, what ever happened to that guy he was a good rapper. lol
-
FAIL!!! lol u got me so excited about a bunch of British fags?
-
LAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE!!!
-
big deal, who giv a crap
-
Who cares about the Beatles?!?!?!?! If I was that big of a fan, I'd already have the song digitized. I'm an Apple fan boy, but this time I think they are beating a dead horse.
-
An event that I've never forget...... REALLY? That is true. I'll remember this one of Apple's biggest campaigns to make something out of NOTHING!!!
