supposedly redsn0w will jailbreak it, but cydia is not functional for 4.2 yet .. at least thats what the grapevine is saying. So I guess if your a dev and know how to do everything via the prompt your good to go. Us dweebs that need the GUI have to wait.

Palmdale Cali. update was available at 10:17, downloaded and received an error, never had to deal with this before..stuck on the usb cord and arrow pointing up to the itunes logo picture :(. Shut down phone and still on the same frame, any help?

Does anyone know if iOS 4.2 can be jailbroken with GreenpoisOn? That is what I used to jailbreak iOS 4.1, I will not update to iOS 4.2 until I am sure that it can be jailbroken, Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Ed

at least in my case, the ios 4.2.1 for iphone 3gs still has a minor bug - after syncing tv-shows to my iphone, they are not organized by title or name of the show, but show up under category "unknown". an hour ago, they were categorized by name of the show and since i havent meddled around in itunes as well as the metadata is definetly ok. hence - faulty software?!
anyone having the same issue? -
4.2 seems ok. tried out the airprint, which doesn't play nice which a lexmark printer it seems.
