Actually, it will be interesting to see just how fast Apple breaks this work-around. That will be very telling as to just how aggressive they intend to be in regards to locking down ringtones.
The jury still seems to be out over whether the real reason for the next day release of 7.4.1 was to squash ringtone name changing thing, or something else.

just download it, drag AtomicParsley to your applications folder, and then drag whatever songs you want to make ringtones out of onto the MakeRingtone application.
easy!

Here's hoping the real iPhone hacking genius' don't start getting upset with me for all the hyperbole flying about. Before long, it'll be high noon, and my iPhone will be 0wn3d. LOL. =)

How is that a genius. You can log into your i-phone with cyberduck and drop the file into the rigtone dir.

I use SendSong (native iPhone app), its fast its free, GUI based, add any songs on iPhone to ringtones.
