What are the benefits of emailing the blobs to yourself? Doesn't cydia already save them for you anyways cause mine are automatically saved and sent to their server

It's always good practice to save (very) important files in different locations. In the case your primary backup is unacessable, you will a backup for your backup and so forth. Me personally always keep no less than three copies of everything.

yes, iPhone hacks pls clarify to us what the main purpose of this is? Aint did saurik asked us d very 1st time we JB & installed cydia on r iDevice. Whats d bearing of this safekeeping?Guys, out of the box question anyways... where am i able to update my unjailbroken 3GS running 3.1.3 to OS4.1 if iTunes only offers 4.2 as its current??? I assess 4.2 update/JB/Unlock to be very unstable. Hope 4.3 comes out w/ furnished features (Steve JObs) & JB to be untethered (the DEVS) for that iOS. Ohhh i miss Geohot's exploit!!

what happend to Geohot's limesn0w? i've been waiting months to unlock my 3gs/4.1/05.14.02 bb i upgraded from 4.0.2/05.13 bb months ago as i read you may never be able to jb/unlock but now you can so im now {as desperate and tempted as i am} reluctant to upgrade tp 06.15 as its irreversible and people are having too many issues with it. Does this limesn0w exist? All the different blogs i have read are very convincing. Whats your veiws on this jb?

What's funnier is that I literally just backed up my SHSH using iSHSHit while taking a **** in the school bathroom.

iPhone 3Gs with firmware 3.1.2 Using iSHSHit, when I click Save I get the message:- “SHSH Backup The requested firmware is no longer available for signing.”So do I give up or is there a solution?

you don't need SHSH 'cause apple no longer signs that version, in other words u don't need 2 do this.

failed to download from ishsshit via cydia, but i managed to download all available blobs which were shown on cydia's homescreen from TinyUmbrella.
