Apple Sending Out Free iTunes Movie Rental Codes
Folks at 9to5Mac are reporting that Apple is sending out emails to customers offering free iTunes movie rentals.
It looks like the free codes are being sent to iTunes users, which can be used to rent one of the 8,500 available movies.9to5Mac reports:

It's probably because of the horrible download speeds users expierenced the last week! Took me 4 hours to watch a 1.5th movie! My network was just fine...

I have not received one yet but if I do receive it I may give it a try. I had no interest in renting movies from itunes when there are so many other options available.
