There has been a deluge of rumors and speculations surrounding the Verizon iPhone in the past few weeks. We had written yesterday about a job posting on the Apple website that hinted at the possibility of a CDMA iPhone.
Now folks at MacDailyNews have published some more interesting details supporting the rumor.

Am I the only one sick and tired of these Verizon rumors. This has been going on for years.At this point we need to stop talking about it and wait to official word comes out because years of this speculating is getting old

I don't care if all the features are the same as iPhone 4 - I just want better service! AT&T service appears to be getting worse. Hoping Verizon will eliminate so many of my calls from being dropped! The anticipation and speculation is really annoying - put out a confirmed release date already!

I don't know what all of you are complaining about, AT&T service is so much better in Arizona with the iphone 4, than it was when the orginal iphone was introduced. I have had far more problems with my iphone 4 hanging up and muting people than I have had with dropping calls. I think apple needs to fix the phone.

Verizon iphone will be release April so as the ipad 2. They will be launching it together.

I think verizon will walk all over anyone that swings to them if they get the iPhone. the reason verizons smartphone sales dropped in the 3q of this year is they are probably soon to be hitting hard times...... I don't even know anyone thats with verizon..... I see it as Att and apple are the same dam company. when Att came back on the map it was the iPhone the brought it back. think about it verizon don't even have the right colors to rock the iPhone. red&balck. blue&silver allday

obviously this is false. why would they release a 4g capable phone this early. it will make the iphone 4 redundant which will eventually hurt their profits. this is bulllll, don't believe everything u hear

I agree. Apple also doest break its trends. It ALWAYS releases its major projects on a conference themed basis. But what this speculation DOES provide is a boost in stock for both Apple & Verizon each time some bonehead analyst starts to play Ms. Cleo the fortune teller.

Thank you! I'm sick of these rumors too. They've been going on since the first iPhone, come on Verizon subscribers let it go! AT&T has the iPhone so stop getting your hopes up. Its not gonna happen.
