AirPlayer: Hack Enables AirPlay Streaming From iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch To Mac
The latest version of iOS, iOS 4.2.1 gives users the ability to stream and watch videos from any iDevice to a television. While this is without doubt one of the coolest offerings in the new update, the AirPlay functionality is however limited to users who own the latest Apple TV.
This means that unless you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and the Apple TV 2G, you cannot enjoy this service.

Can anyone verify that this is video only and that audio (such as music from iPod app) isn't supported?
