Redsn0w 0.9.7b3 For iOS 4.2.1 Untethered Jailbreak Released With More Bug Fixes
iPhone Dev Team had released Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 that implements the “backup plan” for iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4,iPad and iPod touch 4G, which is currently meant only for beta testers.

just upgrade to 6.15.00 that came from the ipad baseband it will let you unlock the iphone . i am using my sim card from my blackberry torch and blackberry data plan its nice to be able to swap out after work .

So I take it this is for 4G only. I have a 3GS MC model running 4.2.1. I've been kinda out of the scene. Is there a untethered JB for my device please? What would it be and what version of software do I need? Thank you.

comex sucks......he could just told to the dev team that he will not be ever to provide the jailbreak before christmas or at christmas day so they could get time to fix all the issues.....I hate people when they try to help someone or other but the only thing they do is just wasting the time of others

Hi Bill, for your 3GS there is already an untethered jailbreak available. You can just d/l redsnow version 0.9.6b4.

HI Every one I have 3GS on5:13:04 /4.0.1 but I wantTo update to 4.1 before I jailbreak with jailbreakme but I did not use before 3.1.2 so I can use snowbreaz or not please help me what I can do for my iPhone jailbreak and unlock if I update to 4.1 thanks

Hey Ali u should be able to use snowbreeze 2.1 to upgrade ur OS to 4.1 without upgradeing ur baseband it work for my iPhone 4 n 3GS just remember to follow the steps n save ur SHSH files

This may be a little off topic but I really need to know the answer, I used this product to Jailbreak my iPad and it worked. I am not sure what I should do first. What is the first thing most people do after Jailbreaking their product? I personally like to write a post complaining about a product that I downloaded for free then I spend a lot of time belitting the people who worked countless hours on it for me, how about you guys? Oh I know you like to complain about peoples' spelling and grammar while asking for them to give you more more more. Oh, by the way...Thank you for allowing me to test this awesomeness that you have created to pimp out my iPad/iPhone 4/iPod touch 2/3/4. Thank you again. Did I say that this is awesome?

I really wish people would treat this as a place to gather information on our wonderful i-devices and stop insulting people for asking stupid questions. Ok i have a jailbroke/unlocked iphone 3gS running 4.2.1 firmware and the ipad baseband 6.15.00.The phone itself has run flawlessly but itunes wants to download a new version with MobileMe Command center and Safari 5.Is it ok to download this update or will i "brick" my phone.Been trying to figure this out for a few days now and would like to update to Safari 5 but dont want to brick my phone.Any help will be appreciated greatly.
