iPhone Alarms Still Not Working For Some Users
As you might know, iPhone alarms didn’t work on New Year’s day 2011 for many users.
Apple had acknowledged the iPhone alarm bug and had reassured users that the issue will resolve itself on January 3rd.
But it’s January 3rd and the news is trickling in that the iPhone alarm didn't work for some users resulting in them being late to work on the first working day of 2011.

Or download another Alarm Clock App? Does this bug apply to all timed-alarm applications or just the default "Clock" App?

I thought it was just my phone! I guess it's good to know it's across the board. However, I would like this fixed as I use it as my alarm clock everyday! Luckily, I just happened to get up when I was suppose to without my alarm today! :)

the alarm i set the night before on 1/2/2011 for 7:15am, did not go off this morning. but the test alarm i set today at 8:30am for 8:35am (5 minutes later), did go off fine.i guess i'll set some more test alarms today to see if it works. might only affect alarms set the previous day??i'll find out tomorrow.

On january 1st my alarm did not go off, and I do have a recurring alarm set to every Saturday.

My alarm failed to work yesterday. Today it's fine again, 4.1 fyi.

Ios 4.0.1 jailbreakedAlarm did not ring Jan the 1stThat day i set up the date to the 3rd plus a non recurring alarm that worked well. But today the one Time alarm did not work surprisingly. Too bad!

This morning my alarm clock did not go off as expected from the fix apple had intended. After power cycling my iPhone everything worked. All of my coworkers and customers who had the same issue had it resolved by rebooting their iPhones after 01/03/2011. This way the iPhone will be able to have a net update

Well it is the morning here of Jan 4th in Korea, and my recurring alarm did not work again. I have an unjailbroken iPhone 3GS with 4.2 SW. I have now after reading other posts here decided to power down and then restart. I hope that this will help, I would really hate to have to set the alarm new each night:(

I had this issue. I just erased all my alarms and then put them back and its working fine now.

Ooh, my stapler has run out of staples! It must be Steve jobs fault, so **** you Steve jobs! Get a grip you ****! My iPhone 4 had the issue, my iPhone 4 has had quite a few of the known issues, but guess what, I'm not a fag, I deal with it! You don't like it, don't fucking buy it!

I woke up 30 minutes late for work yesterday (it was supposed to go off at 5:30am), was wondering what happened to my alarm clock, glad I checked the timer on my iphone or else I would've been in more trouble.

ill go with on the fence, yes it is a device and with all electronics comes problems. but this is not just a game boy, this is the highest class, highest price, and regarded as the highest quality smart phone on the market by many. so a lot is expected of apple, and for the most part they deliver. but you get the same problems with high end cars, (i work at a dealership) the simplest of problems becomes a catastrophe when your workking with a higher end product.

Mine did not work this am. I just deleted all alarms and reset. Alarm is working now.

Somehow I'm suffering a big bug. The alarm worked but I believe there a long line at the Apple Store outside my apartment. It sounds crazy but they are selling the first generation iPhone?! My iPhone 4 is the only device that connects me to the present?! WTF IS GOING ON!!!!!
