Apple To Launch Verizon iPhone On February 3rd?
We reported earlier today that Apple is limiting retail store staff vacations ahead of Verizon iPhone launch.
Boy Genius Report claims that they have also received information from a source that Apple has imposed a vacation blackout for its retail stores staff between February 3rd and February 6th in several regions in the United States.

yay at&ts network is about to open up!!!
-
Yes I'll switch to Verizon instead of AT&T first chance I get. Don't really like switching to a CDMA phone though but at least I'll get away from AT&T.
-
No I will not I love unlimited data and don't think verizon will offer it since now everyone is capping the data for iPhone
-
**** no!
-
I agree. . . . AT&T may actually improve for those who stick with current plan.

I hope EVERY iPhone user jumps ship to Verizon... Free up my 3G network, suckas!!! Muwahahahaha!!!

will there ever be an unlock for baseband 5.14.2+ without the need to upgrade to the ipad baseband? i just wanna know cause I’m not unlocking till there is, but i really want to.
-
It could be the iPad 2. Keep in mind that it is only a month from the original iPad's launch. Also, these aren't official dates either.

im still waiting for the untethered JB for windows i hope very soon thank you.

For everyone saying AT&T's network would get unclogged, that is just ridiculous. There are still a bunch of android users and non-iPhone users on AT&T to still clog the network. That being said, if a CDMA iPhone came out, it would be a waste to buy since LTE is coming out in the future. This in turn means the networks would be faster, but Verizon will still be on top when that time comes due to them investing millions if not a billion dollars on infrastructure for the 4g. Once Verizon and AT&T are using 4g, they will get rid of unlimited plans anyway and there's nothing you can do because your contract would be up.
-
Contract or no, they can't change your plan without your consent, ever. Check it out with your company, whoever it is. Contracts don't have anything to do with specific price plans.
-
Wow you should keep your thoughts to yourself because now everyone knows how dims you are.

Geohot rules!

I doubt 11th will see the Verizon iPhone make debut as its too soon.
-
Wow, you and Abel completely no nothing about contracts. Once LTE comes out, if you want to use it, you'll need a phone with 4G capabilities, and a contract that allows you to have access to it. Therefore, 2 years from now, when there is an LTE iPhone on Verizon or AT&T, you'll need to sign another contract which includes LTE. Your current plan is only for 3G.

Unless your on the LTE network which I highly doubt this phone will work on, this is not gonna be the same experience since you can't talk on the phone and use the internet at the same time on Verizons CDMA network and it is slower than ATT..sort of defeats the purpose ..can't really win here: crappy service from ATT for calls but better for apps or vice versa with Verizon. I am hoping this is all fake and they're just announcing another Andriod phone so all these speculators have egg on their face
