iOS 4.3 Points To iPad 2 Cameras But No Change In Screen Resolution
We have heard several rumors and speculations that claim that the second generation iPad will get retina display like iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G and also come with front and back facing cameras.
9to5Mac is reporting that developers who have been digging into the internals of iOS 4.3 have discovered references, which indicate that iPad 2 will have the ability to take photos and shoot videos but it may not get retina display.

The camera(s) will be a nice addition, but personally I'd like to see a GPS chipset built in.

Retina display would have made it awesome to facetime.
-
dude retina would have made factime on ipads look like crap. unless the other party is streaming video at a resolution that doesn't exist, your going to get very poor results. VGA cams are 10 years old.

I love the current display on the iPad. Retina display would be cool but can live without it. I think the MAJOR thing we need is a significant increase of RAM memory.
-
Hahaha i am waiting for that feature to buy iPad too :)Agree with u

I would love to see an option to run Flash. Despite the negative rep Steve Jobs gives flash, it is crazy to consider the iPad as a leader in the media world without being able to play content from Flash based webpages or play videos requiring Flash Player.

useful as mac computer on ipsd.

Adobe and apple do not work well together..doubt we'll ever see that one
-
No offence or anything but that is something not smart to say

Dual cam are nice, but I would rather see a faster CPU, Or Better battery. Can do with a front facing cam only, iPad is too big to take pix with a rear cam comfortably any way. I would prefer a 1080 screen with front cam only faster CPU More RAM and maybe 50% better battery.

I told you all it wouldn't be retina, and none believed me, now look.Just goes to show, actual logical thinking and working in the industry a long time, actually allows you to see whats happening... Specially cost wise... A retina display that size would cost a tonne more than anything, that why I said they wouldn't as would severely deplete battery life, as well as reduce their profit margins, and honestly not be all that much of a difference that it would be major.I mean as it is, the iPad is HD ready. iPhones weren't at all, and retina gave them that. What true benefit would retina display have?

Shut the **** up Steve! Windows Phone 7 blows iOS out the water! LOL!
-
Oh, and a USB drive. That'd be nice

Why are you waiting? Ummm maybe I am missing something but I am using motion-X GPS on my ipad and it works like a charm.... Soooo Ummmm ...IPad all ready has a GPS .. At least the 3G models do. My 3G is not on .. so I doubt its using cell towers to figure out its location.Thoughts? anyone? conformations?

Agreed, I'm also in the industry and been saying the same thing. I would rather see a faster processor and the ability to run some truly stunning software than have an increase in screen size. After all 1024x768 on a 10" display is actually a pretty good DPI when compared to current desktop resolutions. You can't have both, increase the screen resolution and you take a big hit on speed of rendering. The iPad is already under powered as a gaming device.
