Apple Releases iOS 4.3 Beta 2 To Developers; New Multitouch Gestures Will Not Be Enabled In iOS 4.3
Apple has just released the second beta version of iOS 4.3 (build 8F5153d) to developers of iOS Developer program.
iOS 4.3 beta 2 is available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4th generation, iPod Touch 3rd generation and iPad.
In the release notes, Apple has clarified that the new four- and five-finger multitouch gestures for iPad will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers.

Any idea how long till iOS 4.3 will be pushed out? I'm hanging out for hotspot and I already get pc tethering free on my plan so I'm hoping this will be a free bolt on too.($0 IPhone 4 $59 cap Optus aus) ;)

When will the espresso steam creator be available for the ip4?I know I bought it without it, and an am adult that realizes this, but dammit, I DEMAND my espresso steamer!!!!!Jesus H.F. Christ. The idea behind releasing beta firmware is for us developers to find and report bugs to Aople to fix! I would be amazed if all this happens within a week!

i think the reason why people are mad........I DON'T THINK THE DEV TEAM CAN HACK THE IPHONE ANYORE. they want us to believe they can,which was why Geohot wanted them to do the right thing.......and he always supprises the Dev team.

Sure the New Multitouch Gestures will be usesfull on the ipad but not as usesfull on the iphone. Reason being is that iphone has a small screen and would not be easy to use 4 to 5 fingers. So I highly doubt there will be no home button on the future generation. As there will always be a home button. Likely, I will believe once Apple announces the product, just so that it is official. I don't believe any sources such that of engadget, gizmodo, or even this site, because they are not that really reliable sources. No offense taken here.

iOS 4.3 is perfectly great and for sure this will bring a lot of features. So im wondering when this thing will be released?

I am sure that customers and users of Apple products will eventually like it to have this release of new future use.
