AT&T To Simplify Text Messaging Plans, Downplays Impact Of Verizon iPhone
Folks over at Gear Live have come across a some interesting information that they say has been leaked from retailer Best Buy’s internal training documents.
The first of the documents talk about AT&T simplifying its text messaging plans starting 23rd January 2010 while the other document meant for Best Buy retail employees tries to explain them why the AT&T iPhone is a better deal than the CDMA iPhone.

Isn't unlimited text plan 30 dollars and not 20
-
That's for family plans. 20 is the indevidual rate

Its funny how fanboys pay allegiance to their favorite corporation/carrier. Its almost like Stockholm syndrome, wake the f*@k up idiots you're being raped no matter who you choose, there is no lesser of two evils they're equally sinister. There one goal is to take as much money from you as they can. I'd be willing to bet that if there was only one carrier we'd be paying double what we pay now, if not more. I'm all for everybody making a profit, but pricing is definitely screwy. Oh, and lest not forget about Apple, can't leave them out, yeah they make nice products but its all about raping the consumer for maximum profit. Did everybody forget Wallstreet already.Oh yeah I'm not into stocks but I'm sure all three stocks are doing fine so don't worry At&t or Verizon, take your pick, just remember to lube up and and above all use protection. lolBunch of idiots (Directed at fanboys) I'm for MAIN street, let them duke it out in the form of price slashing. Screw'em all.

And water is WET! WOW!It's called capitalism. EVERY company wants all of your money.
-
This has already been done.
-
You sound like a boostmobile/pcs fanboy.
-
Waters wet and the sky is blue, at least most of the time, but you missed my point. People argue over one company being better than the another as if they have some personal stake or tie to a particular company, undeserved loyalty. Its idiotic, why care about a company that really doesn't care about you the consumer. Its only through competition that companies give more competitive reasonably priced plans and features or goods. NOT because they care. As far as Capitalism goes its has its pros and cons like anything else, but it still doesn't excuse corporate greed, unethical immoral tatics employed by the aforementioned. Boostmobile/pcs fanboy, thats laughable, their phones suck. What would be nice, would be the choice of buying an unlocked phone that would work with any carrier, instead of paying hidden premiums through the use of so called bs subsidies. Ask yourself this, do you have to buy a new phone or get tied down to a particular carrier when you buy a land-line phone, no. The its technologically possible to do this, but the carriers chose not to, why, ultimately its all about control. Control allows more restrictions and unfair price manipulation.

Simplifying = More $$$$ .... Most of the text message plans are the $5 :)
-
**** AT&T...they are abusing thier power by putting any price on the iPhone cause they are the only one carrying it. But not anymore,Verizon should make AT&T lower thier plans. and do you think $5 less in text messaging will hold an AT&T customer, com on AT&T ...you need to do better than that!
-
They have to downplay impact in order to be succesful.
-
New AT&T customers get shafted. They must pay a minimum ps $10 for a texting plan. I will stick with $5/200 plan. I use Google Voice/SMS GV extension/bitesms for all SMS texts and AT&T for all mms. This setup automatically routes the message to AT&T or GV bases on if is a mms or sms.

**** ATT!! I have google voice on my iphone, I don't even have to pay to send/receive txt messages!
