iPad 2 May Not Get SD Card Slot?
There have been several rumors and speculations that Apple's second generation iPad get an SD Card slot. The conclusion was based on an image of a new iPad 2 case from a Chinese accessory manufacturer.
The case came with two additional openings - a left-upper slot and a top-middle slot. It was speculated that the left-upper-slot could be for the SD card and the top-middle slot could be for mini DisplayPort jack.

Not that I made the thing, but my iPhone is currently in a case with a sim card slot. I don't like it, either, but the fact remains that they DO make cases with sim card slots.

Yeah come to think about it youre right! I've never seen a case that actually has a gap for the sim card... Its not something people would need access to often compared to the dock connector or headphone jack. This could mean that it may be an SD card slot or something new. Theres 2 new gaps that werent present on the old iPad... Or its a fakae

Since iOS isn't a full OS with file browsing capability, I don't care a whole lot about the SD card. I think the iPad should have both, though.

The 2 iPad would get a 1600x1200 resolution. It would be great to put in the field of Retina display that Apple has defined the concept back in June.300 dpi people forget is to keep you mobile away from your eyes. IPad kept away (think 22) and require much less dpi for the effect of the retina. Something that deserves to be repeated again in the light of a pixel 4x claim in this second thread. One would think that after all, they repeat some of us have done about it, he begins to make his way with people..

To be fair, the first gen iPad was pretty awesome, so any improvements, whatever they will be, will be great! I personally never found a need for an sd card, but I can see why a lot of people would benefit from it, but surely then apple will be losing money, by not being able to sell to camera connection thing?

I think what he means is that 2 ipad would receive like retina to iphone on 4 version was before dpi on resolution since close to eye because mobile. What, nobody else got that? What's wrong with you people!

Who gives a **** about an SD card slot what is the purpose Seems like a bunch of fan boy crap to me now a retna display on the other hand or better yet an OLED screen that we can use. Or larger storage decent megapixel camera built in photo editing softwear. More ram faster processor finger print resistant screen. Non glare coating. Word processing (office) type soft wear. And a better graphix processor.And blue tooth file transfer. Now we can use that alot more than a stupid SD slot
