AT&T To Add Additional 2GB Of Monthly Data Usage To Smartphone Tethering Plan To Take On Verizon
AT&T has just announced that it will be increasing the monthly data limits from 2GB to 4GB from February 13th for users on a smartphone tethering plan at no additional cost. It has also announced the launch of AT&T Mobile hotspot application for HTC Inspire 4G users, which comes with 4GB of data.

This is only the beginning for AT&T customers it's only going to get better. They are no longerthe soul carrier of the iPhone, and they will do anything to keep there consumer base. Just business. oh was I supposed to say "FIRST"?

It is good news but I think ATT will have to do way better than that in order to stay alive. The only reason that company has any customers is because of the iphone. The network sucks ass, dropped calls daily. no service areas throughout the nation is a common thing.Verizon on the other hand has it all but the iphone, no that has changed and it will be very hard for people to stay with such unreliable network as ATT.I am jumping ship with 4 iphone 4s to verizon.Unless they lower their plans and bring back unlimited data for 30 dollars they will lose millions

Hope u don't have 4 iPhone 4s on AT&T that will be a costly switch and not worth it IMO
-
bye bye! Take your 4 i4s and have fun with Verizon! AT&T has been solid for me in my area, couldnt be anymore pleased with AT&T.
-
This is kinda cool, and its going to get better and better. Dont want to sound like a noob but is AT&T going to have the iphone 5 or am i going to have to switch to verizon? And is green pois0n rc5 going to be on the iphone 3g??

I just want my unlimited data back. **** the rest!
-
I need unlimited data I have netflix on my iPhone and I can barely use it
-
This is good news for sure, but they should do the same with the 2gb data plan.If you ask me only a 2% of the AT&T iPhones customers use tether.
-
well, i dont complaint much cuz i have been tethering moderatelly since dev-team came up with tethering iphone enabling unrestrictedly using my unlimited data and to all those fellows who fortunatelly decided to jailbreak their precious devices just like I, have fun surfing 24/7.this will be a new rip off for the new iphone users who sign up their contract runing to at&t store and got their brand new i4.hopefully verizon don't play a copy cat game with at&t.:P
-
Can we get a jailbreak please!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
LOL... Verizon needs to make their data more and prices lower..let see whose gonna win...!!! us the user...bwahaha
-
did you try to call them?
-
i'm sorry Brusly... but you now have a lifetime ban on using the iPhone JailBreak.
-
Competition is always good, makes the other company straight.

I hear ATT is gonna add a new Auto redial feature for when you get call failed terminations. Supposed to break through the problem of both parties calling each other back and getting voicemail. I guess its been a feature in demand. Works like google voice where it calls the 2 parties and then reconnects the conversation after apologizing for any inconvienances.

Never moved from unlimited and lovin it! 3 unlimited Iphones+JB+MiWi=:)
-
That is two that never moved jb and MYWI and I have AT&T and have never dropped a call yet in my area. Verizon in this area really sucks and is non existance in large parts of Kansas so don't tell me how great Verizon is. It all depend on where you are at.

Still not enough, ATT is gona have to try harder to win people
-
There is a difference with people who are with AT&T and Verizon. People on Verizon are introverted boring people. They don't have fun at all. That's why they choose Verizon, which only works in a few countries. Us AT&T customers are extroverted. We like to travel a lot and have fun, so we choose a network that will work overseas when we have fun.

YA they don't give a **** if u drop them and I told them to shove the early fee up there ass not paying for service I'm not using I am now with Sprint unlimited data
