Verizon Has Already Started Shipping iPhone 4
Verizon and Apple started accepting pre-orders for the CDMA iPhone from existing Verizon iPhone users on their respective websites just a few hours back and we’re hearing reports that Verizon has already started shipping them.
Macrumors reports that one of their readers has sent them a screenshot of Verizon’s website, which shows that his order has been shipped.

They probably will have the shipping company hold and not deliver until the day mentioned. They did that with the att iPhone as well. Shipped early but most didnt actually hit the door until the day they were supposed to

Not necessary, I got my iphone 4 days before the actual release date.

same here, its actually a smart move by them so that the activation servers arent congested on the actual release date. a few thousand activations a day its a lot better than a couple million in a single day.

Ad the early shipments will help take some attention away from the fact that they are putting the data throttle on the accounts.

he Chronic Dev-Team has just released the latest version of Greenpois0n, which features an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 without the need for SHSH blobs. The exploit they are using has already been patched in iOS 4.3.Currently it is Mac only and is a beta release. A Windows version will be released "soon." I have a tracking number already for my iPhone 4 on Verizon recieved it about 30 minutes ago.

Kevin, What time did you get your order in? I had mine completed by 3:20AM and got the same as the above "Shipped" but no tracking number. You say you got a actual shipping tracking number already?

Mine is saying shipped as well. However, I did not get a tracking number yet. I placed my order this morning at 2:55am.

Stayed up to order at 3 am, but fell asleep... however woke up and ordered it at 8 am. just got notification half an hour ago that it shipped. Got UPS Tracking number. Says In Transit in Memphis TN. My guess is they're having Fedex and UPS hold shipment until around tuesday or wednesday.

Yes, it is true...I have now received my tracking number which estimates a February 7th delivery before 4:30 P.M.

No tracking number, but saw on the order status that it was shipped FedEx Overnight. hmmmm... I called but they don't even have a tracking number I was told.

I received an e-mail from Verizon that my new phone shipped and the tracking number from Fed Ex has it arriving on Monday by 3pm
