Greenpois0n RC5 Beta 4 To Jailbreak Verizon iPhone On iOS 4.2.6 Released
That didn’t take much time. Chronic Dev Team has just released an updated version of greenpois0n to jailbreak Verizon iPhone on iOS 4.2.6 just as users have started receiving their pre-ordered Verizon iPhone.
Greenpois0n RC5 Beta 4 will allow Verizon iPhone users to jailbreak their iPhone.
pod2G, member of the Chronic Dev Team announced the release via Twitter:
RC5.4 online for Verizon iPhone 4 early adopters.
He has also published a photo of Cydia running on a Verizon iPhone as proof.

Yo bro, update it to either 4.1 or 4.2.1 and then use Greenpoison to JB. JB for 4.0.2 is not available.

Ok.. Ok... So i did the succesful jailbreak using GP Rc5 alright!!! But hell, what in the goblins name is freaking wrong w/ cydia!?? CYDIA is all empty & useless upon installing (No SHSH Blobs, No Installed Packages, No Repos, Cant Add Source... Nothing!). Ive tried googling this issue, and surprisingly many are experiencing the same problem. Care to help iPhonehacks or anyone??? Im wondering if this is a Greenpoison problem or w/ CYDIA himself.

Cydia booted just fine for me. Could be caused by not doing a clean restore before running greenpois0n or Cydia crapped out while running the installer. Did you try running the installer again for Cydia? If that doesn't work, unfortunately, restore than JB again. I would check http://jailbreakqa.com if you have not already, maybe someone has found a fix. Good luck!

Wouldn't unlocking it make no sense? It's a CDMA phone, can it be used with another carrier without CDMA. I mean, you can't remove the sim card that's embedded in the phone, so how would locking it work?
