AT&T Giving Away 1000 Free Rollover Minutes To iPhone Customers
9to5Mac reports that AT&T has started sending text messages to some iPhone customers offering them 1000 rollover minutes to thank them for sticking with them instead of switching to Verizon, which started offering Apple’s iPhone this week.

Yes. It worked!! I received the reply text. Now let's see what happens in a month.
-
I didn't get the message but i gave it a try
-
It worked! I will see if the minutes show up in a month on my bill
-
I never got the text but I just tried it and it worked. It took a few minutes to get a response and I also ended up getting a double response.
-
It worked for me too. I just texted YES to the number and afer aprox 5 minutes got my response.
-
WTF do i need more rollover minutes for. how about just more discount (i already get 15% for gov't employee) to my phone
-
but i still sent the text and it appeared to work for me....i'll tell you in 4 weeks
-
Worked for three of my family shared lines... It says 1000 per number so maybe I will get 3000 minutes on the account!!! AT&T Rocks!!!
-
Tried with bitesms and got error.

It amazes me that I haven't heard from ATT. I was a customer long before the iPhone Have had the iPhone since it came out. Didn't give up my unlimited data plan. What is my incentive to stay I wonder or I suppose they just figure I am going to anyway. I might just rethink this.
-
I tried it, without having first received the message. 5 minutes later, I got the confirmation message, and then two more for a total of three. I had no intention of leaving, but I'm happy to be getting the minutes, anyway. AT&T's been great to me, and I absolutely love my iPhone. Can't wait for the next generation iPhone this summer!

its an automatic text you retards
-
i did it three times and it keeps saying thank you you will receive 1000 free rollover minutes each time
-
worked fine for me with BiteSMS
-
IphoneHacks are a full 24 hours or more late on this news. Well, lucky some At&t customers r getting feedbacks without At&t invitation. I tried it once and got no response. So I dunno if a ~2 yr customer on iPhone 3GS grandfathered into unlimited data would not considered for the nearly worthless incentive. Anyone tell me...

Thank you very much it worked

Sounds nice. Though I don't need Rollover and I find it useless on my part. Reason is because I never go over my minutes. Since my girlfriend has an iphone. We just use Facetime to call each other. Plus if I need to call, I use it during the free weeknight and weekend. So all the unused minutes will always go into my rollover minutes. And yes my rollever minutes will continue to stack. However, each month some of them do disappear but that I dont' care because as I said before, I never go over my minutes and never will need the Rollover minutes. However, I want my unlimited Data back please.
-
just did it and got an immediate response even tough att never offered it to me. i really dont need em tho
-
How about unlimited data please
-
Soon Verizon will start too.
-
If AT&T wants to keep my business with them, they need to offer me 20% discont on my bill. I would get 29% discounts on my bill if i was with verizon.
-
I tried it and the message also. I really don't need them, just wanted to see if it worked.

No matter matter what type of phone user you are, who would decline a free stuff? What's the worse that could happen if you replied yes? You won't lose some, you gain some without any cost period!. And there's an new upgrade plan that if you're on Family Plan 700 minutes, $30 unlimited family text plan, then you're eligible to add the unlimited mobile-to-mobile to any carrier in the U.S. without any additional cost.
-
Since it's an AT&T message, you should be able to text the number free of charge so why are you using BiteSMS?
-
That's awesome! How do I take advantage of that offer? My family is 700 minutes $30 unlimited text!
-
Just call the customer service and tell them you want to add the unlimited mobile-to-mobile any carrier in the U.S. and mention it to them that you have the eligible plan.

I called AT&T because my plan dont offer Rollover (which this is my choice 39.99 a month for 1000 min no roll over of same price for 450 with roll over seems simple) I text that number said I would get it. Any way called AT&T and I was told this is not a legit AT&T offer. He told me its a Scam coming from some where but they dont know what the point of this Scam is. Although he said they have had a lotta calls about this and they give the people who call 1000 min roll over any way as a courtesy and so they dont get there hopes up.

I've really enjoyed my Verizon service since I switched a few days ago .... ZERO percent of my calls have been dropped, in contrast to about 40%-50% of my calls previously. So those "free" 1000 minutes would have only been worth 500 to me....
-
Nope, this isn't a scam. It's 100% legit. I confirmed it with 2 customer reps at AT&T and they even explained it word by word saying it's way of AT&T thanking their loyal customers. It's not because the customer rep you talked to doesn't know anything about it and obviously haven't even came across with it already makes the offer a scam. Most of the customer reps don't even know what's going on in their system. Notice when you're asking something that they don't know, they always take that cue/pause because they're double checking it on their computer.

i couldn't agree more. why isnt att kissing my a$$, i could leave anytime i wanted to.
