Apple Holding Media Event On March 2nd To Unveil iPad 2
The Loop reports that Apple has started sending out invitations for a media event next Wednesday, March 2nd, with the tagline "Come see what 2011 will be the year of".
The graphics of the invitation shows an iOS Calendar icon with the date as March 2nd with the iPad screen in the background, clearly suggesting that Apple plans to introduce much awaited next generation iPad at the media event as reported yesterday.

ive never been all that into the ipad (a big iphone that dosnt make calls) but if theres somthing a bit special about the new one i may well be tempted

I love the first gen iPad. I expect 2nd gen to have front/rear facing camera, Facetime etc. but I doubt if I would use those features. I mostly watch movies, read books on iPad, so I'm happy with my 1st Gen model. Still ... I may have to get the new one just because its new and its cool. But not the 64GB 3G model. I'd get 32GB WIFI only. Good enough.
