They all work fine for me on 4.2.1 greenpoison jalbreak. My question is where are they stored in ifile (as i assume this is where youd place any custom made ones)

Nevermind i found it. It's just library/bootlogos. You can create a new folder and add any picture you want to use as your boot logo there. Just rename it 0.png and if you want an animated one just add more pictures naming them 0.png 1.png 2.png etc. They have to be the right size for them to work but you can use any pictures you have even if they aren't the right size just by taking a screen shot of the picture.

yes there is! it app is called bootme and u can take on of ur pictures and make it ur boot logo

I have 5.0.1 and I did it and it doesn't ask me to restart spring board, and when i restart it, its still the basic apple Logo

Yep. Any Cydia bootlogo that's made AFTER the release of iOS 5.0.1 will work. Simply check the date of the bootlogo release.

I have iphone 4s and ive tried changingBootlogos a couple time and have even checked the date of logos realese i jailbroke With greenpoison absinthe but logo wont chane i have followed the inst to detalNot sure what else to do any advise would be great thanks

I also have the iPhone 4s and couldn't get the boot logo to work. I recently jailbroke my phone and have animate and greenpoison and have changed the boot logo in the settings and it still won't work. Am I missing something ?

my phone is iphone 3g. its jailbroken but i dont know the tool used. i want to change the bootlogo created (the logo has words "gsmworldfive.com"). pls help me change this bootlogo back into an apple logo

i did this but instead i went to use the skull icon, i selected it and rebooted but still the same stupid apple icon, what am i doing wrong, i jailbroke it with redsnow

All right. I just downloaded the boot logo and I've also added and downloaded something called eclipse I believe. It's under the boot logo extras section. But when I click on it and when I turn off and then on my iPod nothing shows up. Just the same old boot logo. If you can help-please do!

Didn't work for me. I followed the process step by step. Installed new logo ok, selected it in settings, rebooted phone...still on chronic dev snowbreeze logo. Checked settings and apple logo is still selected but doesnt show on boot. 3G 16gb 4.2.1/6.15
