iOS 4.2.1 brought the ability to stream and watch videos and other digital media content from any iDevice to a television. While this was without doubt one of the coolest offerings in the iOS 4.2.1 software update, the AirPlay functionality was limited to users who own the 2nd generation Apple TV.

Pointless if you could use the cable and the WiFi it would have been useful (very useful if you could do it with USB cable on computers without iTunes installed) but forcing you to use WiFi and battery for that is pointless ...

This is stupid. What is the point in this? It's much easier to navigate your library on the ipod so why not just do that and have it play via a virtual soundcard over the Wi-Fi?

My TV has DLNA Support (Samsung UN46C7000) andIMediaShare works well with my TV. But, this app (AirMusic) is unable to trace my TV in the network. Any suggestions??

I got it working!!I need to open the media share in my TV and there I see AirMusic as a shared device :-)

Download Streamer4 instead. Does the trick, also cheaper and displays song name as well. http://itunes.apple.com/app/id485302407?mt=8

I love how the app synchs everything. I like going to live music venues, but for work and at home I have to rely on this.

Hey guys,You love music? Then you should check out the new iphone music stream application called "YouTune∞".It works like spotify or other streaming apps. I am sure that you cant belive it, when you see the price but, it is true 1,99$ app price and you can stream millions of songs for a life-long.
