MobileNotifier: Jailbreak App Aims To Revamp iOS Push Notification System
Apple’s Push Notification system has been maligned for being intrusive and modal. iOS competitors on the other hand have been doing a good job on this front of late. HP’s webOS for example has a banner notification system that has been widely acclaimed.
We’ve also heard rumors that Apple is acquiring a small developer to help them fix the Push notification system.

THIS IS AWSOME!!
-
looks good. will give it a try
-
That's good.
-
idea's really good, but I think the two buttons need to be changed a bit because they look exactly like buttons in Android which do not match with the iOS GUI ...
-
*which do not look good with the iOS GUI ...
-
watch apple copy this...lol
-
What's the point in using this if already have biteSMS and lockinfo?!
-
wtf is this **** lol no point at all !
-
Can't turn off alarms with it
-
I don't have a problem with the way I'm notified of things, but I do have a question with regard to other folk's complaints as noted in the article: What the heck is modal, and why is that a problem?
-
Awesome, this is simply awesome.
-
That was what made it a deal breaker for me; need an alarm for stuff, if you respring it'll turn the alarm off but how convenient is that?
-
O ****, I have a Multifl0w...
-
Notified pro with PopupBlocker is way better
-
Breaks the alarm - can't turn off without respring/restart... Can this be fixed? Love the app :)
-
problem with alarm here as well, restarted the phone to turn off the alarm.BTW this doesn't work with Multiflow.:(
-
Modal means that you cannot interact with anything else in the UI until you have taken action on the modal window. So when you have a notification, you cannot keep playing your game until you have closed that notification. Many people find that anoying.
-
I agree. Lockinfo..... DONE!
-
I think it's pretty good. Don't have any issues with the alarm cause I don't use it. The problem I had was on the lockscreen. The notifications keep adding up. I finally figured out you can delete them one at a time in the multitask screen. They should just go away when you open them IMO. Other then that, it's great and it IS in beta people. ;)
-
I am also having the problems with the alarm.
-
Exactly, I get mail notifications with Lock info and every other notification I'll ever need :)
-
Cool app but did anybody notice the iOS clock? How do you get it to show you the real time instead of the static icon?
-
Since I have installed this i have had problems withalarm clockremoving texts from both text.app and this appunlocking works differently too, doesn't tell you that if a code is wrong, it just doesn't unlock. unlimited tries.
-
I love the look and feel of this and it works great with texts but anytime i get a notification i get kicked into safe mode >.<

This is interfacing with Music Controls Pro, I mean when you bring the music controls with taskbar switcher; the controls will go to the background and you won't see the info of the music you are playing like Artist, title and cover art :(Overall the app is very handy although I like Notified better :)
-
Awesome... thanks ;)

Same Problem here: The alarm can not be turned off, otherwise it could be a great addition to IOS.
-
Odd didn't seem to do anything except hang around on the lock screen showing how many times it had intercepted messages that it wouldn't open!
-
That bug has been fixed.
