AT&T Will Support Personal Hotspot When iOS 4.3 Is Released On March 11th
We had reported that AT&T is allowing the personal hotspot feature for iPhone 4 users on iOS 4.3 beta.
Electronista has just reported that AT&T has confirmed that it will be supporting the personal hotspot feature when iOS 4.3 is released on March 11.
Personal Hotspot feature allows users to share an iPhone 4 cellular data connection with up to five devices in a combination of up to three Wi-Fi, three Bluetooth and one USB device. However, carriers need to support the feature.

I'm not surprised at all that att is charging for this service. I just wish you could keep your unlimited data.

"...the mobile hotspot feature will not be available for long time iPhone users who are still on the unlimited data plans.." What? How will Apple or AT&T distinguish who gets and who doesn't get the feature. Or gets the 4.3iOS update.? I should be able to get the feature just like everyone else. I just happen to be a long time customer; which you think AT&T would acknowledge and appreciate.

Hey idiots, just go ahead and use mywi! Thats what im doing and hotspot everyone with UNLIMITED data and no DAMN cap!

I've had unlimited internet with t-mobile forever for only $5.99 a month. They won't take it from me and I won't take it off. This works well with my iphone 3g too bad the unlock for my paperweight iphone 4 is still pending!

My Wi is the ****! I've been using this as my hotspot for months!

Isn't their a JB hack to enable carrier teathering? So perhaps you won't need to pay T $45 but I guess you best have unlimited data!

I'm in the same boat. My paperweight iPhone 4 is collecting dust as we speak. I really hope the unlock comes out next week. I've had this phone for 4 months as a desk ornament. My wife has $5.99 unlimited internet with hotspot but my internet is $10 however with T-mobile.

Try ultrasn0w. It will unlock it.

ATT has to support, otherwise Apple would not have released it.
