TinyUmbrella Updated Ahead Of iOS 4.3 Release
A new version of TinyUmbrella, the tool that allows you to take backups of SHSH blobs (ECID SHSH) has just been released to support iOS 4.3 GM, which was recently seeded to developers of iOS developer program. iOS 4.3 is expected to be released to the public on March 11th.
TinyUmbrella also protects iPhone 4 from baseband updates.
The backed up SHSH blobs (ECID SHSH) are required if you want to downgrade to previous iOS version as Apple usually stops signing them after iOS 4.3 is released.

i am new to all this. so i have iphone 4 which come already with IOS 4.2.1 BB 03.10.01,and i want to JB and unlockwhat should i do JB for now till the unlock release? JB with green poison and wait or just wait?do i need to save SHSH?i am really confusehelp guys

Hi, start by reading this guide: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2011/03/how-to-jailbreak-your-iphone-4-iphone-3gs-iphone-3g-using-pwnagetool-ios-4-2-1.html and the links it points to as well.Basically, you cannot unlock as of now. You can jailbreak if you want to - but you still can't unlock, so it's up to you. Be careful not to update your iphone4 with any ios updates unless you know whether the baseband will change and whether it's worth preventing that. Or learn how to apply any future updates (such as upcoming ios 4.3) without allowing your baseband to update (basically use pwnageTool/sn0wbreeze/TinyUmbrella to preserve your current baseband, since it may become unlockable one day in the future, and likely before any newer updates become unlockable).Good Luck.

Too bad that atleest 1/3 of the windows users can't run the Windows version (due to Java errors on startup) and that the Java version (that was working for backingup SHSHs) was removed ...

hi,in deep ****...first i had tinyumbrella 4.2 and saved my shsh and later tried restoring my iphone 4 which automatically updated to 4.3...now im in the recovery mode loop...tried the tinyumbrella 4.3 fix in DFu mode but still nothing happens..same ****...maybe im not following the right steps...please need HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!...just wanna get it back to normalTHANX..
