Apple To Give Sneak Peak Of iOS 5 In Early April?
A German website, Macerkopf.de claims that according to their source, Apple is planning a media event in early April to give a sneak peak of the next generation iOS – iOS 5 and also the revamped MobileMe services.
The timing won’t be a surprise as Apple has typically held a media event in the first or second week of April to preview their next generation iOS and releases it to general public in June.

Does anyone think that iOS will ever allow interactive springboards (i.e. home screens like Android and WP7)? The Springboard is elegant but after a while it just seems too...simple, and useless.

iPhone 4 will be slow on iOS 5

Widgets? You ever hear of SBSettings? :P I don't have to unlock phone to turn it on or off ;)

I want it compatible with my 3GS 32GB for the money i paid for it. I've more than 16GB free in it and want to use as an excellent storage device able to communicate with my laptop over wifi or bluetooth. And to get rid of the never ending chain of unclosed apps with the partially developed mutitasking feature

MUST-HAVE in iOS5: - New lockscreen customization- New, better multitasking with close-all option- New, complete customization of iOS look (colors for menu, complete sounds for everything, advanced options for lockscreen etc)- Faster, faster, faster iOS:)

Must-Have in iOS5:1. Shortcuts to turning wi-fi on and off. Going to settings, then going to wi-fi, then turning it on takes a while. Android phone, AFAIK, Samsung Galaxy S, has this shortcut. All you need to do is on top edge screen scroll down and a dropdown menu comes. Sure iphone can do that, only when it is jailbroken. I prefer mine to be not jailbroken so I want it part of it in the ios.2. Definitely the ability to close all apps that is in the "RECENTLY USED TRAY BAR" with a single click of a button.

FM radio! The required circuitry is there since iPhone 3G! So why not wake up the feature already!
