As rumored, Apple has just released iOS 4.3.
Apple had given a preview of iOS 4.3 at last week’s iPad 2 media event and announced that it will be released on Friday, March 11th. iOS 4.3 includes a number of new features and improvements such as faster Safari mobile browser performance, iTunes home sharing, AirPlay enhancements, toggle for iPad’s side switch and personal hotspot for iPhone 4 users.
According to the release notes iOS 4.3 includes the following new features and improvements:

First!!!!!! That certainly took a long time to report. Now there is no excuse why a jailbreak and unlock can't be released. Let'ssee who will be true to their word!

MIGHT WANT TO RE-WRITE THIS SENTENCE:iPhone jailbreakers and unlockers have been advised NOT to upgrade to iOS 4.3 until iPhone Dev team, Chronic Dev Team and iHh8sn0w release the updated jailbreaking tools for iOS 4.3.

Lets hope they are kind and release the unlock-its been a good phone bar the stupid locking rule-And to the ones that say -you should have got one on the right network!- There are 2 reasons why we don`t- Cost is the first -who really wants to sigh up for 2 years at x amount? buy one outright and then have the freedom to CHOOSE who you want to give your hard earned money to- The Challange - Great feeling to beat the big guys-if only i had the brains to do this-have great respect for all the jailbreakers/unlockers for what they have achived so far--So- Lets hope they aint been beaten by this-otherwise i have one expensive I-Pod/sat nav lol

23rd!So if I use Tiny Umbrella to backup my SHSH before upgrading the iPad & AppleTV2 to 4.3, to test out the new features, Will I be able to downgrade back to 4.2.1 ???thx

Good update ! Well done apple. Personal hotspot feature is the best. It's works like charm. Iv got unlimited all you eat data plan with three network in the uk. It's the best network for iPhone. Apple has done well with this update. It installs fine no issues. All I can say all iPhone 4 users should definelty update but be careful if u want to jailbreak or unlock. My iPhone is factory unlocked so happy days.

I would like to ask the author if the app store updates page has changed as earlier reports claimed. If so, can you post a screenshot of it? Also, can you still see what the developer lists as the update (earlier reports couldn't access it)?

Can i just say i have a 3G, i also have a 2G which is now sat in the drawer. Does apple think we have bags of bloody money to keet upgrading our phones well a BIG UP YOURS APPLE, think i will get a android phone next

AHhhh man. I havent used my iphone 4 in almost 3 months now. 3 months is a 1/4 of its fricken shelf life. I havent seen the dev team this far behind in the cat and mouse game for a long time. If they dont release an unlock soon they are going to loose a huge following.

Be careful with updating to iOS 4.3 and tiny umbrella, it will stuck your iPhone 4 in recovery mode, I don't know why. Had to erase tiny umbrella from mac and edit hosts file.... after that had to restore iPhone using backup file.
