iOS 4.3 Reveals iPhone 5 Will Get iPad 2's Dual-Core A5 Processor
When Apple revealed that iPad 2 will get the new dual-core 1GHz A5 processor, we assumed that it will be coming to iPhone 5 when it is released this summer.
Twitter users @chronic, @FilippoBiga and @naynee75 have discovered references in iOS 4.3 that was released earlier today, which provides more evidence that Apple’s next generation iPhone will get the new dual-core A5 processor.
This was revealed via the following tweets:

That great if iPhone using iPad 2 processor :)

I just hope there is sufficient change in the new iphone to make it worth the upgrade... then again I have bought the iphone 2, 3, 3gs, and now the 4 so I am about 99.9% sure I will get the 5 when it is released...

umm ok? tegra 2 is coming in like a month
-
I cant wait to have da new iphone on mines hands...........
-
Me too. HAHAHA!

Well, I would hope they add NFC capability to the next iPhone, since that would allow me to get rid of my credit cards since most places I go have the NFC machines.I also want them to bump the screen resolution up to 1080p, if nothing else so I can finally shut the Fandroids up. If they add a Thunderbolt port for high-speed data and video transfer, even better.Oh, and would it kill them to make a model with a built-in stand? Or hell, at least give the iPhone it's own version of that new iPad 2 SmartCover. I'd kill to have a cover that turns into a stand at will.

Screen resolution is unmatched, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. And they're not going to bump resolution. All of the devs would have to write new coding. Just won't happen.

I'd like A5 processor bigger screen better antenna design heck let's have an iPhone choice like the iPad one version with a keyboard one without maybe even a different color better camera with 1080p capability And better face time camera
-
Nice, but will it get double the RAM? and though unrelated, a better camera flash LED. maybe two like the droid
-
Wasn't this obvious, its not exactly rocket science.

Why do people ask for a 1080p screen on an iPhone. The human eye can't see the difference from 720p to 1080p on any tv smaller than around 40" when it comes to quality. The only difference you will notice is that things are smaller.

Dual core processor, NFC-Chip, bigger screen, to be able to use it as an external storage device, decent bluetooth to exchange files with other types of mobile phones, able to run Flash on websites........Hmmmmm....this all sounds so not-Apple.Maybe it's time to switch to an Android Phone like the Samsung Galaxy S2......
-
They ask for 1080p because they are uneducated idiots :-)

I want the iATRIX - yes.. let me plug the iPhone into a Mac Air or a tablet with a receiver dock that allows me to use ONE DATA PLAN and benefit from the technology.
-
64GB, please. 128 preferable.
-
Well some might be well informed about the fact that apple has released a "gadget" that lets you watch videos from your iPhone to a big screen. Ergo 40+ would be available...... But i may be just an idiot as well.
-
you can do it already if you have tethering enabled from AT&T or if you jb your phone and get MyWi.
